Here we are, at step 1 of our way to achieving excellent writing skills and becoming great creative writers! We provided our pupils with the beginning of the Halloween story:
When Anna was a little girl, she had a girl friend who told her that a ghost was in her house. Anna asked her parents if she could spend the night with her little friend and they allowed her to do so. At midnight, the two girls watched as a lady appeared at the foot of the girl’s bed. She seemed to be rocking a cradle. After a few minutes, the lady moved towards the bedroom door and out into the hall. Anna and her friend followed the ghost into the kitchen and out the back door ……………………………….
The task of choosing the best stories was a difficult one, we could hardly make up our minds. From over 25 stories written by our students, we finally decided on a Top 10!
