A Christmas Dream – 10

Filed under: A Christmas Dream — teentalents @ 11:04 pm

It was December 23 and stars are shining on the sky. For me it was a little sad night. I was thinking to Christmas. A so beautiful celebration, which makes us better, more understanding and more loving. I was thinking that my friends are gone to our grandparents and just I am sitting alone in apartment and looking at the Christmas tree very beautiful decorated. I didn’t believe in supernatural powers until the day before, when an aunt of mine gave me a booklet, very enchanted. Of course I didn’t believe and used it as a decoration of my room. It was a purple booklet, very phosphorescent. It was placed on a rack of my furniture and always attracted my attention and I looked up until I get bored. But one day I started to leaf. Page number 24 was very special besides that was the most brilliant page in the booklet. I touched it and immediately fell asleep. I was amazed by the magical place in which I entered. Everything was magic.

At one time I met some people. They were very good and understanding. I told them what happened but were not too surprised by saying they had visitors. I asked for help, worrying me for not know what am I doing there. They asked if I want to stay in the realm of magic and I got to go where their loved ones. I decided to stay.

Together with people who were actually elves went into a palace. Was a gateway to the North Pole, Santa’s country? Beyond it I met a fantasy world and it was just snow everywhere, the city was decorated with garlands, globes and many color lights, the ring of bells are easy to hear. It was something extraordinary. I was looking around me, everywhere Santa’s elves.

In the distance a red sleigh with bells is named chief Clinks brownie and went on me. I am very scared and amazed by the beauty of the sled I forgot to hit in front of it, and very scared about the reindeer were injured.

When the Elf saw me, he immediately jumped off the sled and asked how I got there. I didn’t know how to answer them because I was too amazed by the magic around me. I returned and I realized that the Elf talked with me. Seeing that I was very asleep he took me in a white palace where it was written with bright gold letters “Merry Christmas”. Then I realized that I actually came to the palace of Santa Clause. I looked around and I was very surprised by what I saw. In front of threshold appeared Mrs. Claus with a tray on which was it was two cups of hot chocolate and some cookies. I was very tired and sleepy but I wanted to see how everything works there. Mrs. Claus has offered to be my guide, but after I get some rest. I went into a big room and very well decorated and the ceiling was like snowflakes that sit over the whole room, everything was magical. In the room was a quiet air feeling with a rose perfume. Leaving the scent of roses and ring of the bell, I lay in bed and slept surrounded by magic.

The next day when I woke up I realized that I still in that grandiose room, I could hear the ring of bell and smell the roses perfume. But for my surprise the first person I saw was really Santa Claus and not Mrs. Claus. It was the most beautiful morning in my life, something extraordinary. He invited me to visit the whole city of dreams, the city that any child would like to see it. So I visited with Santa entire palace, reindeer stables and to my surprise they knew to speak. I attached the Rudolph who was the youngest and most beautiful reindeer with his red nose. I and Rudolph visited the whole city, which was full of very bright lights and everywhere it could be heard ringing the bell.

After the tiresome trip I returned to my room, where a lady elf met me with delicious cakes and a large cup of milk with cocoa. Because I was very tired after those wonderful cookies I asleep like a baby.

The night passed quickly and in the morning to my disappointment I found that everything was just a dream, the most beautiful dream I ever had, a dream of Christmas. The night that I think it will become a nightmare became a gorgeous dream
now it is the Christmas morning I wish you all HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

A Christmas Dream -9

On Christmas night, after I decorated the Christmas tree I prepared for Santa cookies and a glass of milk. I put my socks together with my family at the fireplace, the shoes at the door and of course I was waiting for the presents under the Christmas tree. In that night I made the bed near the fireplace on the coach, using a little trick with the hope to see Santa Claus. As usually I fall asleep but this time I had a special dream.

I went out with my brother to make a snowman. After we have finished it I went inside to look for a hat. It took me five minutes and when I went back in the yard the snowman was alive. I made some big eyes because I didn’t know what was happening. I thought that I see weird things, but everything was real.  In that moment I realized that I have new clothes. I had a pair of green trousers and a red blouse on which was written Shtrumphy.  I knew that Shtrumphy was my name. On the head I was wearing a Santa’s hat, and on my feet I had little red shoes. It was already twilight and on the sky you could see Santa’s sledge with the nine reindeers, the captain being Rudolph. They were coming to me, landing in the house yard. Santa gave me a long list with the name of some children and their presents and guess what: there was also my name on that list. I was curious so I looked for my present and I noticed that I was receiving the dreamed present. I couldn’t believe this but I realized that Santa got my letter and fulfilled my wish. From my yard Santa took me to his house in Laponia to have dinner with him and Santa’s wife, and to take the children’s presents.

Finally, I met the wife of Santa, about who people know only few things. She was a beautiful woman, with a white curly hair, dressed as Santa Claus. Their house had a room full of toys, where were the Santa’s goblins, a guest room, the bedroom and a little kitchen. You could see everywhere in the house photos with children all around the world. Until Santa had dinner, Rudolph, the red-nose reindeer made me a house tour. Everything was gorgeous, all over was snowing, distance away you could see the mountains’ peaks and the house was near a quiet forest.

After a while, Santa came to his sledge and we started working. After a short trip through the clouds, we arrived at a little house. Santa took his magic bag, stopped the time and made all the children fall asleep before his arrival. Our first stop was at a little girl house. As you all know, Santa is just a little bit podgy, so, in the moment when he should enter the house through the chimney, I thought that it will be impossible. But what a big surprise for me, Santa entered easily and I couldn’t understand how he did it. Together we went to my cousins, to the orphanages, to the children with no home and we still had a lot of presents to give away. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time because you could already see the dawn of the day. I was worried that Santa won’t arrive at my place. But seemed liked Santa thought to all, our last stop was at my house. I went down after him in the chimney and I saw myself on the coach, dressed in pyjamas and sleeping. Santa left my present under the Christmas tree and in my socks and shoes put some candies. Then, he drank the milk and ate the cookies, which were especially made for him. He didn’t forget to leave a present for my brother and for my parents, also.

Santa kissed me of goodbye, thanked me for the help that I have given to him and left, leaving me home. The person from the coach, namely me, woke up but Shtrumphy didn’t disappear. This could mean only one thing: I was still dreaming. Shtrumphy was so funny dressed and I was proud to be a Santa’s goblin. We looked at each other for a few minutes and Shtrumphy vanished in the moment that my brother entered the room shouting that Santa was in our house.

I woke up happy that I had such an adventurous night and went to see my present. I found out that Santa left me a T-shirt on which was written my goblin name, Shtrumphy, and in the present box there was…

It was a week until Christmas, and Roger and his family were waiting for Santa without a Christmas tree, without anything to eat because they were very poor. His father died last year and his mom remained unemployed with four children, Roger being the oldest one.

One morning, Roger decided to do anything possible for his little brothers  so they can spend the Christmas like everybody. With a Christmas tree, Christmas gifts and a tasty dinner. He  went to Mr. Smith’s house and asked him if he wants him to clean his alley of snow. Mr. Smith was a lonely and very rich man. But he was very hunks. He rejected Roger and told him that he doesn’t need him to do that. Roger left very disappointed.

Every night, Roger and his little brothers say a prayer to God, asking a “Wonderful Christmas”. They wanted Santa to come so hard, that they wrote a letter to him, every day. But they didn’t asked toys and candies. They asked a Christmas tree and something to eat, to spend the Christmas like everybody.

A few days after, Mr. Smith was walking through the city, and saw Roger cleaning someone else’s alley. He approached  him and asked why is he doing this. Roger, with tears in his eyes, told him the entire story and Mr. Smith understood that he made a mistake. He recalled Roger next morning to his house. Roger didn’t understood why, but he was so curious that he went. Mr. Smith told him that it’s not necessary to clean the alley but he will give him and his family everything they need to have a “Wonderful Christmas”.

Roger was so happy that he started to jump and sing all around the house. Mr. Smith was so full of joy and realized that a Christmas spent alone is a lost holiday. So, he decided to call Roger and his family at his house to take the Christmas dinner.

It was Christmas Eve, and Mr. Smith with the 4 kids adorned the Christmas tree. Leah, the children’s mom looked at they, and understood what Christmas means in her kids life.

After the Christmas dinner, the kids went to bed waiting for Santa. Sleeping, Roger dreamed that he met Santa and he sad that this was the first Christmas with a real Christmas tree and a big dinner in many following. Next morning, he woke up, and went downstairs and found lots of  gifts and his brothers very happy Mr. Smith opening the presents.

A Christmas Dream -7

Filed under: A Christmas Dream — teentalents @ 10:56 pm

It was the last day of school before the Christmas holiday. The classes were over…we were happy thinking of the Christmas tree, the Christmas dinner, the Santa Claus’ presents and of course at Jesus’ birth…the teacher left the classroom and we remained for some minutes to share our best wishes for Christmas, to talk about the presents that we would like to receive  and what we would offer. After several minutes we decided to go home. But a strong golden light rushed in the classroom. We were thunderstruck. Two angels appeared and told us that very soon we would go on an unforgettable journey. After saying this, they shook their wings and draped us in a white veil. The angels grabbed it, they turned around and like by a magical trick we were sliding on a crystal sledge which soon floated on the fluffy clouds, dragged by twelve unicorns. We were dumb of wonder, listening to the magical harp sounds. We looked at the starry sky and the land left behind us. We crossed mountains, seas, oceans .We left the planet, the galaxy and soon we are arrived in other world. The sledge entered through a curtain of icicles…and a chilly fairy tale land lay in front of our wide-open eyes: huge mountains covered with a tinsel snow, iced valleys, firs gilded with balls, tinsels and thousands of  multicoloured lights, snowmen, wood and stone chalets…

We were almost frosty when the sledge got down and stopped in front of a big chalet lighted by lamps. Around it, a Christmas paradise lay and even the atmosphere was heralding the holiday. An old man with long, grey hair and beard, dressed in red clothes accompanied by a beautiful lady opened the door. Behind him appeared several elves with green helmets.

“Santa!” we cried.

“Welcome, my dear kids! Get in the house! You are frozen.

When we entered, we felt the smelt of the resin perfume and the warmth coming from the fireplace heating our cheeks the house was so hospitable, more beautiful than we ever imagined. The Christmas ornaments, the toys which decorated every corner of the house and the table garnished with all kinds of goodies impressed us.

“Have a sit and let’s taste this delicious meal prepared by my dear wife! You must be hungry”, said Santa.

“Yes we are!” we replied. This journey and the cold brought us a wolf’s hunger.

The dinner was indeed more than delicious. After we finished the meal we started to talk.

“How was your journey?” asked Santa Claus

“Amazing!” we said.

“I’m glad to hear this!” Said Santa

“We are impressed, astonished. It was the best thing that happened in our entire life. We

had never imagined this. A great surprise. But Santa, why did you do this?”

“Oh, my dear kids! You know… I love you all. And you are pretty wise kids, but you get

bored very fast when you have to do the same things.

“Yes Santa! You are right…” we admitted.

“And school is boring. At home too… But here you can’t get bored.”

“Yes it’s cool here! Santa, where are we? Where is this fairy land situated?”

“Oh… oh… on another planet, far away from the Earth, billions of light years’ distance.

“Oh my God! It must be very far away. We have never heard about this planet! It’s not

mentioned in any geography book!”

“It’s an unknown planet, situated in a remote Galaxy.” Said Santa

“This is fascinating! Cool! We’ve found a new planet! We will be famous in the

entire world!

“When you return home you won’t know the way and nobody will believe you!”

“And what’s the name of the planet?” we enquired. “Santa’s Land?”

“No”

“Frosty Paradise?”

“Hmm…no.”

“I know: Snow’s Land.”

“No, kids.”

“But Santa…we don’t know”

“You know…think better. What do we celebrate in winter?”

“Christmas! Christmas Land!”

“Good! This is Christmas Land!”

“And does it look like that all year or do you have also spring, summer and autumn?”

“We have only winter. But we celebrate Christmas in the same period with you. We spend the rest of the year preparing the presents.”

“This is so nice. We would like to help you! You are so lucky to live here! You have snow all the time! But it is so cold.”

“Yes, but we have got used to it.”

“Santa, tell us, please, which plants grow and which animals live in this chilly land?”

“Hmm… you are interested in biology.”

“Yes, we are!”

“So, we have here widespread forests of firs, moss and mistletoe. Here live deer, little birds, white foxes and rabbits, polar bears and penguins.”

“We will meet Rudolph, the red nose reindeer?”

“Yes you will. But not only Rudolph.”

“It’s late! You must sleep! Tomorrow we start the final preparations before Christmas.

“Ok. We agree! We are so tired. Thank you, Santa!

“You are welcome my dear. The pleasure was mine. But now go to your beds!”

“Good night, Santa!”

We followed Santa’s wife. She led us in a large room with several beds. We put on our funny reindeers pyjamas, and we got in the bed. But we didn’t asleep. We decided to pray and to thank God for this wonderful surprise. We felt that this was the best thing happened in our lives. We were so curious what the next days would offer us. Finally we fell asleep. It was a sweet and restful sleep.

We woke up early in the morning, ready new experiences and adventures. We had breakfast, prepared by Mrs Claus…an excellent one. After this Santa read the program to us.

“Today we start with a visit to the toys’ workshop. We have to establish the last details. After, we go to the ranch. You will meet their Rudolph and the others reindeers. We will take them and go to the polar area. We will see the polar bears and penguins.”

“Yuppy!” we cheered.

“We will spend there several hours.”

“We agree. We’ve always dreamed of this moment!”

“Later, we’ll go to the rink.”

“But we can’t skate.”

“You can learn. At the beginning you will fall down but it will be very funny. You will enjoy this. We return in the evening, we eat and we sleep. Ready?”

“Ready! Let’s go!”

At the workshop we saw the elves making a lot of beautiful toys…we laughed a lot at the funny elf who tripped over Santa’s stick. There we met Rudolph. Its nose is really very red. We became very good friends. The other reindeers are also very nice. They led us in the forest where we fed the little birds and the deer. From there we went to the polar area. There, the landscape impressed us: the huge icebergs, the shinny ice in which the Iced-sun (the twin brother of the sun) mirrored its beams. We played with the bears and with the penguins. We didn’t expected them to be so friendly.  A bear cub was sleeping on his mother’s back…it was so sweet…his white hair shone in the solar light. But the most exciting moment of the day was a penguins’ wedding. The male was so careful with his wife…a true gentleman.

The time flew so fast that we can’t realise…and we got late to the meal. Mrs Clause chid Santa. We were upset. But they reconciled after we explained the situation to Mrs Claus. And Santa kissed his wife. It was a romantic moment. But we ate the food cold.

After the siesta we went to the rink. Yes, we fell down many times as Santa predicted, but we had fun, we laugh a lot. Finally we could stay up. We got many bruises but it worth. We spent there all the evening.

After dinner we fell asleep. The fresh air and the skating struck us down.

Next morning Santa troubled to awake us. We were so tired.

“Get up! It’s eleven o’ clock!”

We ate in a hurry. We had to be at the workshop at twelve o’clock to supply it. We were late. When we arrived there some elves were sleeping, others were playing cards, others who had drunk boiled wine got drunk and two of the naughtiest were throwing petards near the fireplace.

“You are fired!”  Santa shouted scornfully.

You had to see the Santa’s face when he caught them. He was so furious. But we calmed him down and we convinced him to forgive them. In fact it was our fault.

We begged Santa to take us on a trip in the mountains. He accepted. We walked. Even if Santa is about 2000 years older than us, we got tired sooner. But you know, Santa has magical power and this explain everything. We played with the snow, we fought with snowballs, made angels and snowmen. Santa helped us to build an igloo.

Before going to sleep that night, we laughed again at Santa’s reaction in the moment in which he saw his elves. We woke up early in the morning but Santa told us to stay home, to talk with Mrs Claus, because he had to solve some problems. So we spent all morning helping the lady prepare the meal, the boys lit the fire and we sang some carols. We remained astonished when we heard Mrs Claus singing our traditional carols. She said that she knew all the Christmas traditions..

When Santa turned back he brought us several dresses and dress suits. We looked so nice in those garments and miss Claus helped us make up and to dress our hair. We were very elegant. But when we saw Mister and Mrs Claus coming we were amazed. They were so lovely.

We were ready. Then Santa called Rudolph and we get in a luxurious sledge plated with ruby. We stopped in front of a huge built by ice and lighted by thousands of golden lights. At the entry we were rendezvous by an elegant man.

-Welcome to the “Icicle Hotel”!

We entered the luxurious building with crystal walls lit up by an impressive chandelier. We found that we were attending the “Icicle Hotel”, the event of the year. After the hotel president’s speech , the wonderful show of fireworks, we visit the hotel’s inner, we  dance , we talk with Santa Claus friends , really wise persons , but very old in comparison with us, all exceeded 2000 years, we received very good advises, we tasted the excellent  food, we toast in Santa’ s honour. The Queen of the ball was without any doubt the charming Mrs Claus.

Late in the morning we went home:

- Did you enjoy the party? asked Santa.

- Yes, very much, a wonderful party.

We slept until fifteen o’clock. It was already Christmas Eve. Santa took the boys to the workshop to load the presents and the girls left home to help Mrs Clause to prepare the Christmas dinner. They found a lot of cooking secrets. When the boys came to the house smelt of cinnamon, baked apples powdered whit sugar, cakes and other goodies.

We got in the sledge and we start our story journey. First of all we passed to the poor children, where we decorated the Christmas tree, and leave the presents, after to the wise children, to our parents to put on their pillows some notices saying: “We are with Santa Claus. We’ll come back tomorrow.”

When we finally finished our funny job we returned to the Christmas Land. There we listened to the traditional carols and Santa Claus’ legend. He was sad when he remembered that he didn’t received Mary and Joseph in his house and Jesus Christ had to be born in a stable.

After this we said “Good bye!” to Santa, to Miss Claus, to the elves, to Rudolph and to the whole Christmas Land. We promised them that we would be wiser and we thanked for the unforgotten holiday they offered us. And we came back on the Earth, happier, with wonderful remembrances to recount to our grandchildren.

A Christmas Dream -6

Filed under: A Christmas Dream — teentalents @ 10:53 pm

There are many stories about  Christmas, some true ones, others invented, but all of them have a specific magic, some kind of spell that you just can’t tell. Still, there is one story that I have heard someday in the past, told by my grandmother. She has such a talent in telling stories! I really adore that one story that she told me about Christmas and I really believe it because I love to dream.

So, my grandmother had a happy childhood. The Christmas was a special time of the year for her, a time when all the family was gathering togheter and enjoying all the beautiful moments. My grandmother loved the Christmas special Christmas cookies made especially for her by her dear mother. She loved them with chocolate, with vanilla, with sour cherries and topped with pineapple cream. It was real heaven tasting them! She was waiting all night long for Christmas Eve to come because that was the time when mother was doing her special cookies. One night, when she had ten years old, in one of those special nights of waiting for the next day, my grandmother,a pretty little girl at that time, had a very strange but interesting dream. As she was falling asleep, she started to feel the smell of those magic cookies: chocolate, vanilla, pineapple, cinnamon, oranges etc. She was conscient about the fact that the cookies were only in project for the next day. But still, where was that smell coming from? Suddenly, in her dark room a small light appeared. She woke up quicqly and saw a little cookie with little yellow eyes smiling at her. She was surprised and in the same time scared, but the cookie told her with whispered voice that she didn’t have to be afraid because she was there to show her amazing things. Like under a spell, the little girl followed the little cookie some place that was actually the kitchen in her house. But wait, the kitchen where her mother was cooking all the time was gone. Instead, there was something fabulous, like another world. It really was another world!

There were cookies everywhere walking on tiny streets between small  houses. Those little houses were so cute and so… delicious! They were like taken out from the fairytale with Hansel and Gretel, made from sugar, honey and milk, with chocolate doors and cream windows. The  people of the town were actually all cookies, with legs and hands, little heads and mouths that were all smiling. They also looked really sweet! The cookie that was guiding her told her that she was in the town called Honeybee and it was under the reign of the beautiful and powerful Queen Vanillia. She was such a good queen, everybody loved her, but unfortunately she was in great danger, because a terrible and evil magician wanted to kidnap and marry her. His name was Spinacho, the lord of all lettuces in the world. The queen hated him because he was bad and ugly, with green hair, long hands and red eyes. The little girl was the only person in the world who was able to save her. She loved those cookies so much and she wasn’t like the other children, all greedy and never satisfied with food. This is why the Queen had chosen her to save her and all the citizens of Honeybee.

The little girl, my grandmother, was scared but she asked what was there to do in order to save those pretty cookies. Her guide, called Lilly Cherry, answered that she had to fight with the magician and steal his magical wand. He was coming every night in the palace, but the Queen always spoke to him with sweet words in order to let her stay one more day. So the plan was to switch places with the Queen and stay in her bedroom one night.

They went to the palace where they met the Queen. She was beautiful, as no princess ever was.. Her hair was dark brown like rivers of chocolate, coffee eyes, strawberry lips and vanilla cream. Queen Vanillia kissed the little girl on the cheek and wished her good luck. She told her she would get something special for her but she had to win.

So, the brave girl enterd in the Queen’s bedroom and waited. At twelve o’clock in the night, the wizard came with a horrible noise. It was like a hundred giant rabbits were eating a huge lettuce. The ugly magician went to the Queen’s bed and tried to grab her. Suddenly, the little girl caught him with both hands, took with a struggle his wand and ate him by one bite. It was terrible at taste, but what could she do? Then, everybody in the kingdom was so happy. The wizards tricks were over, there was no leader for them so they went away from the town. Honeybee was sunnier than ever. The cookie-people were happy and ready for another Christmas. The girl was surprised how they survived every Christmas as she ate them every year. The Queen told her that they lived in her little soul, fed by her love for them. They were tiny spirits of Christmas, living in the hearts of every good child. As a reward for her courage, the Queen gave my grandmother a golden bell which she could ring every time of the year and the spirit of Christmas would always be there for her.

In the morning my grandmother woke up amazed by this dream. She couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the bell on her pillow. It was real magic! She ran to the window and outside everything was white like in fairytales. In the kitchen the cookies were allready on the table. She never told anybody where she had the bell from until the day she gave it to me. Now, I am proud of this gift and I enjoy even more the spirit of Christmas and the beauty of believing in dreams!

Before Christmas Eve and children around the world eagerly await the arrival of Santa, but   John no, he is too busy to think about that. While his friends are building snowmen and ball fight without having any care, John   is busy with public appearances and distributing gifts to children in orphanages. The boy’s parents explained that during the holidays, the richest kid in the world has plenty of responsibilities. But John confused some gifts, and parents sent him to his room, making him feel very useless, believing that he has ruined Christmas for everyone. Full of remorse, he begins to want not to be born. He does not think too much and begins to make bags, thinking about going someplace where he can be useful. Before leaving he passes by his grandfather room, to see him but he was not inside. Here finds, a diary, situated in a drawer where his grandfather always keeps locked.  Heard some steps and he run out of house, wanders on the streets and take the diary with him.

Being  angry, thinking of what to do, start mad on the streets, crying. After several hours of walking, meets a nice man in his cheeks ruddy, with a friendly belly and beard long and white. Struggling to wear a big heavy bag. After  John il tells how confused the presents and left home. The old man tells him not to be angry, and return home to his parents should be worried. It does not take into account the advice of old, and continue to roam the streets, but the old man received a bell, which, in case you need something, you will hear the bell ring as will be whispered solution, but  to think well, when it uses, because the bell can be used once.
Famished, seek shelter. Arrives in a `big house, rich people, like him, where everything was very cold, although they were all, lack of love and warmth of the holidays. Put `mad in a corner, where, making missed his family, he begins to browse the journal. Also browsing an interesting design attracts eyes … was a Christmas tree around which were parents with their son. Start and read the story and accompanying picture:
“It was the winter of 1954, when I was only 13 years. Just days before Christmas, lit a match left in the kitchen, burned the whole house. Together with my parents have left Christmas homeless. Moving us a few days of relative to another, my father began to look for, where we spend Christmas together, me, him and mother. In Finally, find an abandoned house, which had nothing. There were four walls and a roof, but they were enough, how to spend the holidays quietly. With a small Christmas tree, and a few dishes, `in a cold room, we did Christmas. But none of this did not matter. He felt no cold, no loss grief house, we thought that Santa Claus will not come to us all that mattered was that we were three together, and warmth and love of family holidays are more than any other riches. However, I had pleasant surprise to have singers and Christmas and receive gifts from my aunts and uncles. We had an unforgettable Christmas full of joy and warmth, love and hope, even if I was not rich. After passing the holidays, with good people, we managed to restore the house, and become the new rich, but I made a habit to divide every year gifts and toys poor children who have no need of Christmas”

John closes quickly diary. He looked around him. sees more wealth, food of all kinds, beverage choice, presents many, but not see the happiness, joy, nor feel the warmth of talking about his grandfather in his diary.
Then he realizes that all these feelings feel, only around family, without regard for money, food or gifts. The best gift is to spend your holidays with family. Without longer think of anything, come home. But he realizes that will take far too long to come and not know what to do. Desperate he remembers the old man bell. He sounds the bell, and he is back old man, but this time dressed as Santa Claus. Then understand, that in fact all these happenings was in fact a lesson for me, nothing compares to the love of parents, especially in the threshold for the holidays.

Then sighed once went hand in his pocket, and suddenly his facial expressions become happy. Find silver bell, it’s worth trying, was his last hope.
Then with confidence call again, eyes closed and open when she saw the same old man in front. She says with tears in his eyes that he now use magic bell, because he wanted to be with his parents and that this time he understood that is the magic of Christmas. Old man said to close its eyes and to think about desire. The boy did not hesitate, quickly close your eyes and thinks of his family. When  John open  her eyes he realizes that the place is well known that there’s. Was in his yard. With tears in her eyes quickly flees the house, where his parents were. Their embrace and reminds them how much i love and how happy he is with them.

In the evening, before bedtime, remembers that not thanked the person who helped the most.  Santa Claus!

Wrote a beautiful letter that thanks him for all the help and a call tree, that letter was entitled “A Christmas dream”.

A Christmas Dream -4

Once upon a time, actually last December, in the Christmas eve, I was passing nearby the church .. when suddenly I heard somebody singing. It sounded like the heaven was down in that church.

I went closer, and closer, because I was bewitched by that divine voice.

I entered the church but nobody was there. When I turned back, a blinding light, white as snow and pure as the heart of a baby appeared before my astonished eyes. The light began to take shape. “Who are you?” I said. The answer made me burst into tears. It was an angel, a real one. With his gentle voice he whispered me not to cry, because I don’t have any reasons to do so. In fact I should be happy because the heavenly light touched me.

I asked him how comes that he’s on Earth instead to be in Heaven with God and the other angels, celebrating the birth of Jesus. He said that he have a special mission. He must take care of a lonely child and even that he would love to be close to God, he’s happy because he is able to remove the sadness from an innocent soul.

Then I wanted to know more about that lonely child, and I was putting so much questions that the angel couldn’t answer to all of them, but finally I found out everything about that little girl.

She was an orphan. Her mother abandoned her and her father, and they could hardly find food from one day to another because they were very pour. Her father died last month, because he was very sick, and now the little child was alone and scared. The snow was her bad, under a tree, in a park. The stars were telling her stories before she went to sleep, the moon was blowing warm, and even the snow flakes were fluffier for her. The whole universe was trying to help her with all the magic, but this wasn’t enough, because she missed her father.

“And how can you help that girl?” I said, and the angel told me that he already helped her, by touching me with the Holy light.

And it was true. Because after leaving the church I went to the park to meet that girl. When I saw her pretty face and her sad eyes, I went straight  to her and I hugged her with so much warm and love, that I knew her life will change.

I took her home, and my mother gave her dry clothes, and we took dinner together. Since than she is part of the family.

Right now, she is opening the presents. She was a good girl and Santa was very generous this year, because the lasts years he forgot her, but it’s ok, she forgave him because he’s old and his memory is low.

Thanks to that angel, she is now my little sister that I always wished.

A Christmas Dream -3

Filed under: A Christmas Dream — teentalents @ 10:23 pm

A Christmas dream! If it is to write about it, I can write hundreds of pages, and it still isn’t enough. I’m sure everybody can write everything he or she wants about this subject.

Every person had a dream when he was little. Some of us had a dream about having a bike, some about having a doll, but I think everybody had the most beautiful dream: that Santa Claus  is real.

I still think Santa does exist. I like to believe this, because I like to feel I’m still a child. I love to remember when I was little and I could not wait until Christmas holidays when I was writing a letter to Santa to bring me presents because I was a good girl. It was something special and magic when my mother helped me write the letter because I was too young and I didn’t know to write, and then we put the letter at the window and wait for Santa to come and get it. I couldn’t explain how that letter could disappear because I was looking all night at that letter. But my mom said that Santa was invisible. I could not see him, because if I had seen him, he wouldn’t bring me any presents.

My parents told me that if I was a good girl, helped them with different stuff like cooking, or cleaned the house before holidays, Santa would see me and bring me more and more presents. And it was like that. Every time I was asking for something like a doll or a game, I was getting more, because I was a good girl.

Now that we have grown up, we realize that Santa isn’t real. That all this was in fact a fantasy. Some of us say that we were stupid when we were young and believe that Santa was real. But it isn’t true. We were kids, and we loved to think that we had a Santa who was a Saint and brought us presents because we were good boys or girls.

I still love to think and to dream that Santa is real. I still go and ask mom whether should help her so Santa could see me that I’m a good girl and bring me presents. I still write letters for Santa, but I keep them for myself.  I have like ten letters all for Santa. And in each and every one of them I ask for another present. And I don’t forget to write at the end of the letter that I was a very good girl, and I helped mom cooking and cleaning the house and I deserve more than I wrote in the letter.

It is sad that nobody believes in Santa Claus now. That nobody feels it is still a child, that nobody misses that part of us when we were kids. It is nice to remember what we use to do in the past, especially when we were kids and we didn’t know the truth.

It was maybe a perfect world for us, where no one could reach and hurt us. It was a magic world, where Santa Claus was our protector.

I still dream every Christmas that Santa will come back and bring me presents and maybe I will tell him a story and I will sit on his leg and watch him with his white beard and his quiet voice asking me: “My dear, what would you like for Christmas?” This is my Christmas dream!

A Christmas Dream -2

Filed under: A Christmas Dream — teentalents @ 10:21 pm

It was the Christmas night and little Joey was waiting for his presents. Everything was ready; the Christmas tree was shining and the house smelled really nice of cakes and other types of foods. Joey wanted to stay awake to see and tell Santa Claus what he wants for this Christmas because he forgot to send the letter to him. His mother told he shouldn’t worry because the boys and girls who don’t send a letter to Santa can tell him while they sleep in a dream. ‘It is called a Christmas dream and it’s magic’, said his mother.

So Joey went to bed, a little less worried. But he didn’t believe his mother and tried to stay awake. Joey was starring at the Christmas tree to see if someone appears when suddenly he fell asleep. While sleeping Joey start to dream. He was in a sleigh over the hills full of snow. Joey heard bells from a house that was in front of him. He stopped the sleigh and entered the house. Inside it was warm and he saw many dwarfs that were building toys and dolls for girls and boys. He couldn’t believe what he saw. He said ‘hello’ to the little people but none responded. It was like he was invisible to them. Then he remembered that his mother told him about the Christmas Dream and maybe this was it. In his mind he wished for some action toys and thought of them and suddenly all the toys that he wanted were in front of him. With a feeling of joy he started playing with them for a hour or two, but he got bored. Realizing all his wishes can come true, why should he confine this kind of power to some toys that he could buy in real life. So he let his imagination go loose. He always wanted to fly over the hills in the back seat of Santa’s sleigh. And when he thought of this it became real. He saw Santa and Rudolph with his red nose in front of him. He was singing Christmas carols and was enjoying the ride when Santa told him:’ Hey Joey, this night your true wish will come true. You will help bring all these presents to the people around the world.’. It was the happiest moment in all his life. He always wanted to help Santa and maybe after that he will receive the presents he wanted this year. They went all around the world and brought gifts to every people. After this Joey started to think about him being a super-hero like in the comic books that he read and the image of Santa became blurry and he started to see different Christmas villains. He stopped them from stealing the gifts and destroying the Christmas spirit. Joey felt really good in this dream but something was missing. After these two adventures he missed his family and his house, even though here in this dream he had all kinds of toys and could do anything.

He didn’t know how to go back in his world, but after a few hours he woke up in his bed, he was home. Then his mother came into the room saying that he should come downstairs because Santa came and brought him the toys he wanted. He ran and saw exactly the same toys like in his dream but didn’t play with them yet. Joey turned to his mother and father and saw them smiling and realized in that moment that the most important thing in Christmas day is to be with your family and loved ones. He hugged them and then started to play with his new toys. That was the greatest Christmas in Joey’s life.

A Christmas Dream – 1

Filed under: A Christmas Dream — teentalents @ 9:58 pm

Dear journal,

Good morning, or maybe Merry Christmas would be more appropriate. It’s Christmas morning , and maybe the rest of the kids from this town are opening their presents. But I, I want to tell you something. It’s a bit weird but, I want to tell someone what happened last night.

Last night, after I had a little conversation with mom, I went to bed. I quickly fell asleep, maybe too quickly. The night was passing but I woke up. It was morning, but it wasn’t the Christmas morning, was the same day as yesterday. Going to the kitchen I heard my mom talking to the phone with grandma, and I’m not sure if I heard correct but she said that grandpa and grandma are coming in. I was happy because I never saw them since they came from their “journey” in Bahamas. My father was cleaning the house, Christmas was close right? I went to eat something, then I changed my clothes because I was in pyjamas. I haven’t heard the full conversation, so my mom told that grandpa is coming only later in the evening. That was nothing, we’ve had time to embellish the Christmas tree. The day passed very fast, and I don’t remember what have I did. The evening arrived, and I was expecting my grandparents. But they were delaying.  I waited, and waited, and waited, it was 9 p.m. and still they weren’t .Dad was a bit nervous, but whatever, he’s always nervous! So we thought they have changed their mind so we don’t have to expect them anymore. We’ve had a quiet dinner, how it supposed to be in that special evening. A little chat, and I went to the balcony to see the stars. Right when I entered in the balcony, I heard something on the roof. At the moment, I was scared, but I stood chill for a second, and I recovered. My parents were busy, I didn’t knew with what.. So I got upstairs to see what did I heard. Silently I went to the attic, and discovered that the window to the roof was blocked. But I could see something … a big sledge.  Wait a second, that is what I said in my mind then. Could it be Santa Claus?  Nooo, it couldn’t, or could he? It was only my imagination. I got quick downstairs and my parents weren’t. Supposing they were in the bedroom, I got to my room even quicker than before. I think I was scared, even if I hadn’t any reason.

But what a surprise, the door-bell rang. My dad opened the door, and a bigger surprise, they were grandpa and grandma. As I told you we weren’t expecting them anymore. Went downstairs, I was happy to see them, very happy but they seemed to be shaken. Maybe it was the road, they are a bit old. But the curios thing was that my grandpa’s beard was much longer that I’ve imagined. We invited them inside, I think they wanted to stay at the door, or maybe they were in a hurry… Went to the dining room, and while my parents and my grandparents were having a boring conversation, I noticed grandma’s new boots, a bit strange for her. And I couldn’t notice that my grandpa’s favorite color is red, his clothes were almost all red. A stupid idea came into my mind. Could grandpa be Santa Claus? Here are some strange things around… Could grandma be his help? Stupid ideas, but still I wasn’t fully convinced. They’ve decided that is time to go home. We wished them a Merry Christmas, but I, the ingenious girl, I was preparing to follow them. It was the perfect moment to find if my idea was stupid or not.

I pretended that I’m going to my bed, but instead, I went to the back-door and waited for them to get out. Surprisingly, they finally got out, and they were walking down the street. But, after 50 yards, they disappeared. Wow?! But I heard some noise, I searched it, and I arrived close, too close to my house. But I was amazed. Can you imagine what I saw? It was Santa Claus and one of his helps. Do you think it was only that? Nooo, I was even more amazed, when I realized that they were my grandparents, so all my ideas were correct. I ran after them, and I screamed to hear me. They discovered that I was making some noise so they took me in the sledge. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. THE SLEDGE OF SANTA! And Santa was my grandpa! They forced me to make an oath. It was referring that I shall never talk to anyone what I have seen that night. I agreed. So for one night I was one of Santa’s helps. I tried to ask them about their “secret” identities, but they ignored me. All the night I delivered presents to all the kids from my town. I even told grandpa which kid is mean (like he didn’t know). Grandma decided that is time for me to go home. Grandpa agreed, so the reindeers were heading to my house. Without making any noise, like the last time, they landed on the roof. My parents we’re sleeping, that meant they haven’t noticed that I’m missing. Grandma led me to my room, and made me remember the oath from the sledge. A good-night kiss and she left.

I couldn’t sleep, thinking that my grandparents are The “Santa” family. That means that I’m Santa’s granddaughter. That’s a cool thing. But, my presents? Very sad, I fell asleep. The rest you know.., I woke up and I’m still having a discussion with you. But now I’m wondering if it wasn’t a dream… All these couldn’t be true. Really, it isn’t possible. I can’t be Santa’s granddaughter. It will be a dream came true for me. Whatever, Merry Christmas again! Now I’m heading straight to the presents… I want to see what grandpa brought me. Ohh, I mean Santa! Love ya…
